In a unexpected partnership that defies conventional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Revealed

According to the official announcement, "An unusual encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine group.

The adventure centers on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Transformations

The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Bonus Material

Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an special katana together with multiple objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
